Beers

We have a nice selection of beers available at Yelverton Golf Club. Most popular are the real ales, we stock two of these, the award winning Tribute from St.Austell Brewery as well as Jail Ale from the nearby Dartmoor Brewery of Princetown.

Add to these Tetley's smoothflow, Guinness, Carlsberg (probably the best lager in the world), and the easy to drink (but strong) Cornish Cyder Rattler (only available Mar-Sept.

We are proud to hold the Cask Marque Award for the quality of our beers. To obtain this an independent assessor will check all cask ales on sale for - temperature, appearance, aroma and taste. If all four reach the prescribed standard the award is given.

Pubs that join the scheme will be visited unannounced by an independent assessor twice a year. In the first year they will be visited twice in the first three months and in subsequent years they will be visited once in the Summer and once in the Winter.
