Dear Members,

I have endeavoured to communicate with you throughout the year and now find myself revisiting these comments stunned as to how quickly the year has passed and humoured by many of the experiences I have enjoyed over the past 12 months.

I know many previous Captains have collated a scrap book for their year and I am no different, as it is the photographs, letters, e-mails that will always allow me to remember my year of office with both pride and a feeling of being humbled and privileged to be your Captain.

I will endeavour to give you a brief resume of the year, with, I hope you will forgive me, a bias towards the positive.
