Junior Turkey Trot
Sunday 27th December 2009

Jamie, James and Kieran won the 2009 Junior Turkey Trot Competition, which was played over 15 holes with a score of 68 points beating the team of Josh Reeday, Iain Couper & James Dawson into 2nd place by one point! 3rd place went to Dan Rosevear, George Davies & Dan Bailey (64 points)

The afternoon saw one of the Club's more "senior" Juniors paired up with two of the "intermediate" Juniors, which is not only aimed at the further integration of the various facets of the Junior Section but also a part of the preparation for next season's (2010) West Devon Junior Golf League programme of events. A big thank you to James, Dan & Josh for their "guidance" and participation, which was enjoyed by all.

It was also good to see the above-mentioned juniors joined in the Clubhouse afterwards by the various Academy Juniors and Parents that had taken part in the "Short-Course" Junior/Adult Competition organised under the guidance of Steve Dougan the same afternoon.
