Welcome from Teresa Holt Lady Captain 2011

I would like thank the Ladies for electing me as their Lady Captain for the coming year. It is an honour and a privilege and I look forward to working with the Ladies Committee.
My Drive –In was well supported and thank you all for an enjoyable day even though my drive down the first was not my best.

Yelverton Golf Club has been chosen to host the 2011 Ladies Devon County Championships from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th May. If you are able to help in any way during the Championship weekend please let me know. A big thank you must go to the Men for allowing the ladies to use their Locker Room on the Friday.

Our Captain, Terry Gibson has already stated it is going to be a tough year for Yelverton and I do hope you can find time to support the Club. We have several social events coming up including the Murder Mystery on the 21st May and the Summer Ball on the 22nd July (please note this is a new date as it clashed with the St Lukes Midnight Walk).

My Charity this year will be St Lukes Hospice. It has helped families that I know through their darkest moments.

Finally, I would like to wish you all a happy and successful golfing year.
