SOCIAL EVENTS

Other than the New Year’s Eve blip, the social events have been very well attended with some nights to be remembered. The Murder Mystery Night (the plumbers were the best detectives, surprisingly), Summer Ball (with some “off the wall” food), wine and cheese evening, (please don’t ask, because I don’t remember) 70’s disco night- (stars on show “The Mayettes”), the two Christmas parties, Italian Dinner evening (superb atmosphere and food) and The Final event with our after-dinner speaker all went very well, with all of the functions showing a profit from the night. As with all things, you learn from experience, and I have passed on my thoughts of changes or enhancements, for future events, that I would action, if it were my time again!

To all members, I would ask you to consider supporting your club on the social events; support maybe needed more so now, than in many a year.
