Yelverton Golf Club

Saturday 4th July 2020

We are pleased to announce the re-opening of our Clubhouse. Social distancing measures are in place so you can safely enjoy refreshments - we look forward to welcoming you.

From Monday 29th June 2020 we are pleased to announce visitors will be welcome. If you would like to book a tee-time please call the Pro-Shop on 01822 853593.

Yelverton is a delightful moorland course, designed by Herbert Fowler, who used the old mine workings as natural hazards to challenge golfers of all standards. It has outstanding views across Dartmoor and over Cornwall and is a very natural course, with Dartmoor ponies and cattle sharing the fairways. The course has been host to many top quality competitions, including the EGU Men's Senior Amateur Championships in 2006. We are a friendly welcoming club, have availability for new members and many attractive packages for societies.

Preferred Lies in use. Some welcome rain and a showery day ahead. Using the weather window to get a spray application on the greens. You will notice small sheaths sticking out of the ground EVERYWHERE!!...this is the husks of the leatherjackets that have plagued us all season, now popping out of the ground as cranefly (daddy long legs) to lay eggs and start the cycle again...feel free to stamp any you see
