Visitors & Green Fees

Yelverton is a delightful moorland course, designed by Herbert Fowler, who used the old mine workings as natural hazards to challenge golfers of all standards.

It has outstanding views across Dartmoor and over Cornwall and is a very natural course. The course has been host to many top quality competitions, including the EGU Men’s Senior Amateur Championships in 2006 and the Devon Golf Men and Ladies Amateur Championships in 2023. We are a friendly welcoming club, have availability for new members and many attractive packages for societies.

Society Golf

What a hidden gem of a course, from the practice area to the greens that are in such great condition all was great. It’s a challenge and you may lose a ball or two, but looking for them whilst taking in the breathtaking views is not a bad way to spend the day and you won’t get lonely with the sheep and ponies.

Interesting and challenging holes. The greens were in excellent condition. A really good test of golf. You get holes that you're happy to just make par and others where you stand a chance of a birdie. Add to this stunning views over Dartmoor, the occasional roaming horse, cow or sheep, and you have one of the best golf courses in South Devon.

Top course. Stunning views and the holes are so enjoyable. Always a challenge, you can play here all year round.
