Adam Frayne – Head PGA Professional
In 2016, Adam qualified as a professional coach. Previously, he played for England from the age of 14 until the age of 21, when he was part of the England Men’s elite squad. After a successful amateur career, he moved onto the professional ranks and played most of his golf on Europro and Challenge Tours. In 2006, he qualified to play in the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club (Hoylake).
In 2015 Adam was awarded with PGA Assistant of the year for his combination of Coaching and Playing Achievements.
Jeb Gay – PGA Professional
Jeb Gay is a dedicated golf instructor with a background in semi-professional football. With years of golf experience, he aims to bring a wealth of knowledge to Yelverton. From coaching beginners to Juniors, to refining techniques of seasoned players, Jeb fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment, emphasizing proper technique, course management, and mental preparation.
Passionate about continuous learning, Jeb is excited to be part of Yelverton’s Team and looks forward to contributing to its success and longevity.
Joe Yorke – PGA Professional
Joe earned his PGA Professional qualification in 2020, driven by his passion for coaching individuals of all ages and skill levels.
He has rich history with Yelverton, having been a member since the age of 10 and representing them as a Junior.
Whilst still actively participating in PGA West Region events, Joe remains dedicated to both his coaching and playing endeavors.
Coaching
Yelverton Golf Club provides one of the best coaching experiences in the South West.
Juniors, adults, beginners, experienced players, lady and men golfers, even groups can all be catered for at some of the best practice facilities in the area.
The Pro Shop

Swing Studio and Club Repair Service
A recently built state of the art indoor fitting studio and simulator facility. We have also just completed our brand new club building/repair centre. This repair centre has over 80 years of first class club building experience, including building clubs for previous world number 1 professionals.
The swing studio is unique to the area using industry leading Trackman Radar technology to provide accurate data for both club fitting and gapping.
